As a result of Texas House Bill 7, signed by Governor Perry on June 1, 2005, several major changes were made regarding workers' compensation coverage and benefits. One of the legislative changes was that workers' compensation carriers could create or contract with Texas Department of Insurance (TDI)-approved health care networks in order to provide workers' compensation medical benefits for existing and future claims (starting in 2006).
Zenith has partnered with Interplan Health Group and has obtained certification from the Texas Department of Insurance to operate as a Health Care Provider Network in the state of Texas. Zenith's Health Care Network (ZHCN) is a customized network with approximately 2500 providers.
