Our medical management team identifies qualified medical providers to add to our state-specific networks and panels on an ongoing basis. That’s because at Zenith, we know that medical providers who regularly treat patients with workplace injuries and illnesses understand the importance of collaborating with the employer, employee and Zenith throughout the course of treatment. Through our collaborative approach, the provider obtains a better understanding of the employer’s day-to-day operations and is able to establish appropriate medical restrictions for a safe and speedy recovery.

We also know that some injuries require special attention. Our nurse case managers consult with our claims management specialists on all claims involving hospitalization, multiple injuries and requests for surgery. In addition, a Zenith medical director reviews all cases involving spinal surgery, chemical exposures, and treatment and/or time off work that is outside of medical guidelines.
