Return to Work

Our specialists provide pathways for you to get back to safe, productive work as soon as medically possible.

If your medical restrictions prevent you from being able to immediately return to your regular job, we may be able to help you start "transitional work." This is a temporary assignment approved by your doctor that meets your physical restrictions and will enable you to get back to work safely. Zenith will work with you and your employer to guide this process to success—with a focus on your abilities rather than disabilities.

Why should I accept transitional work? Why not just wait until I'm ready to return to my original job?
Transitional work helps you stay connected to your workplace and coworkers. It also minimizes the physical deconditioning and loss of work skills that might result from an extensive period off the job due to injury. Best of all, by taking a transitional work assignment you might accelerate your healing process. Our years of experience have shown that many injured employees recover sooner when they return to a stable, safe work environment.

It is also important for you to know that if your employer offers you a transitional work assignment within the medical recommendations of your primary treating physician, not accepting could jeopardize your disability benefits.
