Zenith has a pharmacy benefit management (PBM) program in 26 states. Our network and panel providers are expected to adhere to all applicable prescription-dispensing laws and regulations and direct injured workers to our pharmacy benefit programs where available.

When prescribing medication, please provide the injured worker a written prescription or call the prescription into the participating pharmacy selected by the injured worker.

Effective September 15, 2011, we have launched the Zenith Pharmacy Network (ZPN). Our policyholders’ employees will be required to fill all prescription medication through the Zenith Pharmacy Network (ZPN).  Providers who participate in the Zenith Medical Provider Network are included in the ZPN.  Please confirm your participation in the network prior to dispensing medications from your office.  Zenith will not reimburse the injured worker or provider for prescriptions filled outside the network.  Bills for appropriately dispensed drugs will be reimbursed at your contracted rate.  If you do not have a contracted rate established, you will be reimbursed the lesser amount of either your billed charges or the California Official Medical Fee Schedule.

*The Zenith Pharmacy Network (ZPN) was established pursuant to Labor Code 4600.2(a) which allows insurers to contract with a specific group of pharmacies or a pharmacy benefit network to provide medicines and medicinal supplies to injured workers.
