| Our large nursing staff works closely with our claims examiners to continually search for qualified and effective doctors, medical providers and hospitals. Our staff participates in all phases of treatment and coordinates quality care for injured workers in the following ways: - Zenith’s nursing staff works quickly to provide the
needed medical referrals for the injured worker once a
claim is established. - Nurse case managers consult and collaborate with
physicians on a regular basis, paying close attention to
injured workers’ treatment and striving to provide
injured workers with quality medical care. - Zenith’s nurse case managers are involved in 100% of
claims involving requests for surgery, multiple-injury
claims and hospitalization. - Zenith’s National Medical Director reviews cases involving
spinal surgery, chemical exposures, time off work outside of
guidelines as well as any claims with medical reserves over
$75,000.
