Early return to work can benefit everyone.

Employees who return to work quickly and safely, even in a limited capacity, can remain productive while they stay connected to the workplace.

Zenith’s Return-to-Work Department is staffed with multi-disciplinary experts, many of whom are bilingual. They work with employees recovering from injuries to help them get back to safe and productive work activities as soon as medically possible. Our goal is to minimize the cost to employers who temporarily lose a staff member to a work-related injury or illness. By working closely with the policyholder, injured worker and medical providers, our Return-to-Work Department helps identify and create opportunities for injured workers to return to work in transitional (or “light duty”) work assignments.

For all claims where an injured worker will be absent for a period of time, our Zenith Claims, Medical and Return-to-Work departments will:

• Initiate immediate contact with the policyholder, the injured worker and the doctor.
  
• Identify work release dates, medical capabilities and transitional work assignments.
  
• Develop return-to-work plans with goals, time frames and accountabilities.
  
• Facilitate the injured worker’s return to work while assisting them with adhering to prescribed medical guidelines.
